The Heavenly Angel Challenge is something you all may want to participate in. The challenge is played like this. I will start it off by Challenging 5 tatters to tat 5 Angels from the list of patterns we have available to us or ones that they have purchased or gotten for free. It can be any level Angel.

 

Then when you have completed your 5 if you are in the states then you will send them to Palmettos Tatting Guild for disbursement to the Angel Trees throughout the country. Then here comes the fun you pick 5 Tatters to tat 5 Angels and so on and so on. The hope is we cover enough angel trees all over the world to share Kindness, love and hope to all who need it. The Angel Trees comes out October 5th. We will also have a tree at Tat Days to hang your Angels on for the donation box Palmettos is collecting. These Angel trees can be found in Children's hospitals, Churches, Youth organizations sponsored by the salvation army. The angels can be placed on the Angel tree to be a gift to the giving Angel who has picked a name off the trees. If donating to a church or organization please speak to the person in charge and tell them what the donation is for. 

 

Those of you overseas that want to participate you can take your Angels to any Children's hospital and donate it to the children's family or the child themselves. The hope is to help the children that are either underpriviledged or entering a stage in their life that no parent wants to face alone. We hope it brings hope and love to everyone that is touched by an Angel tatted and donated.

We will have a list of places to get free patterns for you to use. You can put beads on them, charms whatever you want to do to the angel to put a smile on someone's face and warmth in their hearts with hope and love.

The Salvation Army is the foundation that supports the Angel Trees all over the world so you can even donate them to their local branch.

The link must go directly to the pattern and also share the link to your main page of your website so we can add you to our resource pages for tatters looking for other items you may have.

We appreciate all of you who participate in this. We have until November to get the challenge filled.  The exact dates are not confirmed at this time but we should have those pretty soon. No harm in getting a head start is there. You know the early bird gets the worm and all that jazz. :)
